Dorothy Neyland MBE is a highly respected lady in all fields of work. As a Club Official, Competition Organiser, Area Chair, Technical Panel Member, mother of 7 as well as a Board member, Dorothy consolidates the views of the 4 Area and School Committee's in a forum called the Membership Directorate.
Every club has the ability to feed any issues, concerns, compliments and recommendations into their area meeting. The Area Chair is responsible for feeding these discussion points into the Membership Directorate.
The Chief Executive Officer, Development Manager and the 4 Area Chairs make constructive recommendations and decisions on operational matters that will benefit the gymnasts and members.
The anticipated outcome will remain to streamline processes to benefit the area work & office procedures and communications.
This group is the voice of the clubs and members; therefore, this voice speaks directly to the decision makers when needed. The role of the chair is to ensure that all Area chairs are updated with Welsh Gymnastics progress in each key delivery point; Development, Performance, Staffing, Finance & Administration & Governance. This information is disseminated from the area chairs back to the clubs within the areas at the quarterly meetings.
