Welsh Gymnastics Awards Evening a resounding success

The inagural Welsh Gymnastics Awards Evening took place on Friday the 11th November 2006 at the prestigious Vale Hotel Spa & Golf Resort, Hensol.
The evening was a great success, and enjoyed by all present.

Welsh success at British Age Group Championships

Congratulations to the Welsh gymnasts who won both the Level 2 and Level 4 Team competition at the 2006 Age Championships at Guildford.
In the individual competition Katie Carter from the South East won the Level 4 with 48.750 followed by Kiera Brennan (Wales, 48.700), who also won the combined with 93.400.

Congratulations to David Eaton for his second place in the all around competition at the British Senior Championships 2006, held at the Robin Park Arena, Wigan over the weekend.

Medals at NDP Finals

Welsh Gymnastics hosted the National Development Plan Finals for the second consecutive year at the weekend.
The main hall at the Welsh Institute of Sport was a sea of colour, as teams representing the 10 English regions, together with Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales were given noisy encouragement by the visiting fans.
