Job Description
Tenby Gymnastics Club require a Head Coach who holds a minimum of a UKCC Level 2 in any gymnastics discipline to lead the delivery of recreation gymnastics sessions. The primary aims of our recreational classes are to build the foundation skills of gymnastics whilst creating a fun and safe environment for all children to enjoy
Roles and Responsibilities
The suitable candidate will be the Head Coach of the recreational gymnastics in the club. It will be the coach’s responsibility to plan, deliver and review the current sessions on offer and ensure suitable progressions are in place for all abilities.
Your responsibility will include utilising and metoring Sports Leaders who coach on a volunteer basis in the recreational programme. You need to be confident in a gymnasium and fully aware of the vital safety aspect of delivering a high quality gymnastics session.
Requirements
- UKCC Level 2
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Positive attitude and confident with working with children
- Basic knowledge of the key foundations of gymnastics
- Have your own mode of transport or be able to arrange transport
- Have a clear DBS and renew when required
- Attend a Safeguarding & Protecting Children and First Aid Course every 3 years
Hours
- Monday approx. 3.30 – 8pm
Salary
Negotiable hourly pay dependent on experience
