A total of 30 Welsh gymnasts were amongst the winners at the British Championship Series in Liverpool, in a weekend which saw competitors in aerobic, acrobatic and rhythmic disciplines challenging to become the best in the UK.
As rhythmic gymnast Laura Halford won her fourth British senior crown, with Gemma Frizelle winning the senior ball and silver in the all-around; other Welsh gymnasts scooped another 14 gold medals in individual and group competitions.
Meanwhile new British champion Laura was given the honorary accolade of Master Gymnast, awarded to those who have appeared in at least two world competitions.
Welsh Gymnastics' Head of Performance and Excellence Jo Coombs was awarded the honour of Master Judge.
