Welsh Gymnastics are excited to announce that we will be hosting our first ‘Inclusive Discipline Taster Day’, on Sunday 24th June. The event, sponsored by Strachan Travel, is free of charge and will be held in the Main Hall in Sport Wales National Centre, Cardiff.
The rationale behind this event is to introduce different gymnastics disciplines to our wider communities and to engage with those young people, with certain impairments, who may think that gymnastics is not an option for them. The various disciplines we will have on offer at the event are
- Tumbling
- Trampoline
- Acrobatics
- Rhythmic
- Women’s Artistic
- Men’s Artistic
The event will be delivered by qualified coaches in each of the above disciplines. Men’s Artistic National Coach, Peter Haysham, will also be there to lend his expertise throughout the day. All coaches at the event will have a current DBS and Safeguarding certificate.
