This year saw Wales take a team of over 50 gymnasts to the Trampoline and Tumbling regional team finals to compete in Trampoline Gymnastics and Double Mini Trampoline.

In addition to the gymnasts taking part in the disability trampoline regional finals competition, 32 trampoline and 11 DMT gymnasts took part in the regional team finals.

Everybody from Team Wales looked the part in their new kit, coaches and gymnasts alike and the whole team worked well together, with all gymnasts competing brilliantly. There was a great sense of teamwork throughout the weekend, with young people from all over Wales cheering and supporting each other on the competition floor.

A special mention to the medal winners in Trampoline Gymnastics

  • Rachael Ashman won a bronze in the Level 6 Women’s 13–14
  • Marcus Leach – earned a bronze in the Level 4 Men’s 13+
  • Rhys Owen Doyle – is a silver medallist in the Level 2 Men’s 13+

And in Double Mini Trampoline

  • August Smith – Bronze in Level 6 Women’s 15-16
  • Anais Rose – Silver in Level 5 Women’s 11-12

Congratulations to each of the gymnasts on your success and good luck to all that have qualified for the individual finals this weekend. Keep up to date with all the results via British Gymnastics website.
