Welsh Tumbling is proud to announce that Megan Surman (City of Birmingham GC) and Jade Evans (Carmarthenshire School Of Gymnastics) have both been selected to represent Great Britain at the World Age Groups Competition, taking place in St Petersburg on 15th – 18th November 2018.

Both Megan and Jade competed for and obtained the qualifying scores at the British Championships on the weekend of the 29th September, and have had a nervous wait to hear whether or not they were selected. British Gymnastics officially released the teams to the press on the morning of the 2nd Oct, naming them as part of Team GB.

For both young ladies this will be their 2nd international call up since competing in the British Tumbling Championships.

Welsh Gymnastics, the Welsh Technical Panel and the Tumbling community would like to say a huge WELL DONE to Megan and Jade and their personal coaches, Chris Porter and Shelley Pace.

The sum of these and any international selection depends on a huge support team, lead by personal coaches, who often make sacrifices for the good of our sport and their gymnasts.
