Emily Thomas won silver for floor at the FIG World Challenge Cup event in Hungary this weekend

Emily, who originally began her gymnastics journey with Penybont Gymnastics now trains at the National Gymnastics Centre in Cardiff, where she has been working hard to become a part of the high-level squad.

This weekend saw strong competition at the FIG World Challenge Cup in Hungary. Emily qualified for both the floor and vault finals, winning silver on floor with 12.833, just 0.033 off gold, and finishing just outside the medals on vaults in 4th place.

Under the direction of national coach, Tracey Skirton-Davies, Emily has worked tremendously hard and we wish her great success in her gymnastics career.
