Welsh Gymnastics is supporting World Mental Health Day by giving 20 free enrollments to the Mental Health Awareness course developed by 1st4sport in partnership with UK mental health charity Mind. 

This will be an eLearning course that covers four modules and will increase knowledge and understanding of mental health, providing learners with the practical skills and strategies to be able to:

  • build others' resilience, self-esteem and confidence
  • adapt your sessions to make them more inclusive
  • enable and support mental health recovery
  • tackle stigma and discrimination within sport


Who is the course for?

Anyone that delivers or plays an active role in community clubs – such as coaches, welfare officers, sport administrators or volunteers.

How much does it cost?

We are delighted to be offering 20 free enrolments for members of the Welsh Gymnastics community on this course (one free space per club) Any additional candidates can purchase the course for £12.50.

The course can be carried out at any time, and there are no set dates in place currently.
