Welsh Gymnastics are now accepting membership renewals and registrations for 2020/21.
The coronavirus pandemic has had a big impact on our operations and activities and we’re aware that this has been a difficult year for our members who have missed going to their club.
But through this unprecedented period, we have been inspired by our community’s proactiveness, staying connected when in lockdown before making the necessary arrangements needed to reopen and come back to the sport.
To help everyone to be able to return to gymnastics, we are focussing on how we can continue to keep our community active, healthy and safe, supporting our registered clubs and members in the best ways we can.
After reaching out to our clubs on an individual basis, and after consultation with our Club Forums, we are introducing membership subsidies at the start of this membership year to support participants returning to and joining gymnastics.
Up until 31st October 2020, both recreational and competitive members who renew, or new members who join, will pay a subsidised annual membership fee.
The fee for Coach membership has also been subsidised for this membership year and this will apply across all four entry points for Coach registration and renewal.
You are also able to renew your membership through the medium of Welsh for the first time.
Joining Welsh Gymnastics
As the national governing body for gymnastics in Wales, our aim is to help gymnasts of every level achieve their potential; build confidence, motivation and skill by providing opportunities to develop.
By registering with Welsh Gymnastics you are joining a vibrant, inclusive community that gives every gymnasts opportunity to take part, progress and shine. By becoming part of WG you automatically become a British Gymnastics member.
This year we are providing all of our members with their own digital Member Portal. In here members will find information about their membership, including the exclusive benefits of being a Welsh Gymnastics member, news and events in our sport and their own digital membership card.

How to join for the first time
If you’re a new member with us, you will need to ensure that your club has completed their registration for the new membership year before you join. Please check with your club before joining.
If you want to renew your membership you can do this once your club has completed the registration process. When this has been done you will be sent an email with a link to renew your membership through your online account.
Please note: You will not be able to renew until your club has registered, but you will remain insured until the 30th November 2020, so don’t worry if you haven’t received your email yet.
If you have turned 18 in the last membership year then you will need to create a new account by joining for the first time.
Here are some handy FAQ’s that we hope will help you with the process.
