Congratulations to Ynys Môn GC who have recently enjoyed their most successful Inter Island Games ever!

A 13-strong gymnastics team, led by Catherine Rowley, flew out to Åland in Finland to compete at this year’s Games.

In the Team events, the Seniors placed fourth out of nine teams, while the Juniors came second out of six teams. In addition Shannon Williams was third on floor and Cara Williams second on vault.

Congratulations also to Seniors Peter Goldberg (parallel bars and rings), Darcy Williams (beam and floor), Calla Woodcock (bars, floor and vault) on making apparatus finals, with Ela Williams first reserve on beam. 

The team consisted of six senior girls, six junior girls and one senior boy and included: Awel Owen, Darcy Williams, Calla Woodcock, Peter Goldberg, Ela Williams, Nel Thomas, Mia Rowley, Ariana Hardy, Lois Preston, Isabelle Hughes, Shannon Williams, Sali Jones and Cara Williams.
