Lisa's role is...

Helping drive and support the strategies to improve high-quality education, coaching and performance pathways within Welsh Gymnastics.

What's keeping Lisa busy:

  • Looking after the welfare and development of gymnasts and coaches from community to elite performance level, whilst chairing the performance committee.

Gymnastics history: Lisa represented Wales and Great Britain as an international gymnast, before qualifying as a women’s artistic, men’s artistic, pre-school and disability coach. She is also a prominent voice of the sport; presenting and commentating within the arenas of numerous global events, including the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

More about Lisa: She has delivered physical education, coaching and sports science to undergraduate, post-graduate and masters students for over 20 years. Her award-winning PhD research includes work on joint laxity and bone health. She currently works at Leeds Trinity University and is an executive coach.
