CWG 2026 Longlist Gymnast

I started gymnastics at the age of 6 at Heathrow Gymnastics Club in London. My mum had signed me up after a birthday party I attended at the club. I struggled early as a young gymnast as I’d face a lot of injuries missing out on many competitions. I suffered 6 fractures over 6 years from the age of 9 to 15 years old. It was hard to keep training after all those injuries but the encouragement from my mum and coaches over the years kept me going.

I went on to win the u16 Welsh Championships after all my injury struggles. My proudest achievement was coming 3rd All Around and on High Bar in the U18’s category at the British Championships in 2021.

My favourite apparatus is the floor as I find it exciting flying through the air and trying to stick my landings, however, my favourite skill is actually on High Bar & that’s the triple back dismount.
