My journey began at a preschool class when I was 3 years old and it all went from there! I went straight into a squad when I started school and have never looked back! I was at Derby City Gymnastics Club until I was 7 or 8 and then moved to Derbyshire Gymnastics Academy (formerly Amber Valley) where I have been ever since under my coach Jenny Clay. Gymnastics has definitely been a rollercoaster ride but the ups always outweigh the downs- doing well at competitions makes me so proud of how hard I have worked over the years to steadily progress and work through some tough times with injuries. My proudest moments to date are, making the longlist for the Commonwealth Games 2026, having a great Welsh Championships, being selected for the all-around on the Senior Euros Team, being reselected for GB Senior Squad and coming away with 3 medals at the British! I think I have a good attitude towards the sport and have been lucky enough to have great people around me.

CWG 2026 Longlist GymnastMy favourite piece is Beam! I always feel confident on beam because I enjoy it! My favourite skill is a tricky one because I like different ones at different times depending on how well they are going, but I would probably say a double straight on floor which I’m looking forward to putting out on the competition floor, but it’s been delayed due to injury. I would say my favourite subject at school was Biology as I just found it interesting.
I feel proud to be on the longlist and being with the rest of the team who have become good friends which is super important to make a good team.
