Elliot Vernon

I have been doing gymnastics since the age of 4 and joined my first squad group at the age of 7 at Retford gymnastics club. I later then moved to Leeds gymnastics club where I still train today.

Some of my proudest achievements in my 15 years of doing this sport are competing at the Hungary World Cup and placing 2nd all around at the 2026 Northern European Championships.

My favourite apparatus would have to be p-bars, mainly because the excitement which comes with it when trying to learn a new skill. One of my favourite skills would have to be a double front dismount.

Outside of gymnastics I am in my first year at the University of York studying Economics and Finance.

I feel proud and honoured to have been chosen for the long list. It makes me feel very motivated in training and excited to see what this year brings.
