Coaches, clubs, and officials play a key role in creating a safe, positive environment in gymnastics. If you have a concern about athlete welfare, safeguarding, or behaviour that doesn’t feel right, support is available to help you report it appropriately and confidentially.
Reporting concerns is about listening & protecting each others wellbeing, and supporting high standards across the sport. Raising something early can help prevent problems from growing and ensures the right support is put in place. No concern is too small, if something doesn’t feel right, it’s important to speak up and seek advice.

When to Refer a Safeguarding Concern
This guide has been created to help you understand when a concern should be managed within the club and when it should be referred to the Welsh Gymnastics Safeguarding Team.
