The Women’s Artistic Excel Grades 2 & 3 and NDP Finals 2026 took place from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th May, with Welsh gymnasts producing a fantastic set of results across the weekend.
The Welsh Performance pathway athletes enjoyed success across all grades, bringing home team and individual medals in a number of events.
In Performance Grade 1, the Welsh team were crowned team champions following a series of strong performances. Individually, Madlen Thomas became Beam Champion and Millie Evans became Floor Champion, while Catrin Dyban-Sully claimed Floor Silver. Madlen Thomas and Millie Evans also took the title of Range and Conditioning Champions.

Performance Grade 2 saw the Welsh team secure Team Bronze, alongside more individual success. Ava Denby was crowned both Bars Champion and Floor Champion, while Anya McShane earned Beam Bronze.

The Performance Grade 3 team were also crowned Team Champions after an excellent competition weekend. Ava Joseph claimed Vault Bronze, Darcie Walsh became Beam Champion, and Lilia Stabler was crowned Floor Champion.

In Performance Grade 4, Wales secured Team Silver, with several gymnasts achieving podium finishes. Elinor Griffith-Williams was crowned Vault Champion and also took Bars Silver, while Mara Amarillo earned Bars Bronze. Sophie Wynne rounded off the results by becoming Range and Conditioning Champion.

In the Excel pathway, the Grade 2 team finished 8th overall, while Alexa Williams, Alicia Henry, Halle Davies and Renee Lewis all successfully passed their Excel Grade 3.
