Welsh tumbler Peter Goldberg has been selected to represent Great Britain at the upcoming 2025 Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline World Championships, set to take place in Pamplona, Spain, from 2nd–10th November.
The selection marks a major milestone in Goldberg’s flourishing career and is a testament to his exceptional form throughout the 2024–2025 season. His consistency, power, and technical precision on the tumble track have established him as one of Britain’s brightest tumbling talents.
Competing for Durham Gymnastics Club, Goldberg has enjoyed a standout year, most recently claiming silver in the Senior Men’s Tumbling at the British Championships in Telford earlier this month. His performance there showcased not only his world-class difficulty but also his calm under pressure, qualities that undoubtedly caught the attention of the national selectors.

The World Championships in Pamplona will bring together the best tumblers, trampolinists and DMT athletes from around the globe, with competition set to be fierce. For Goldberg, it represents not only an opportunity to compete on the world stage, but also to inspire the next generation of gymnasts coming through Welsh and British gymnastics clubs.
Welsh Gymnastics congratulate Peter on his selection, highlighting the achievement as a reflection of his hard work and commitment. Holly Broad, Executive Director of Performance commented:
“We are thrilled for Peter, his coaches, and the wider support team on his selection for the upcoming World Championships. This achievement is a testament to Peter’s dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to the sport”.
As preparations ramp up for November, all eyes will be on Goldberg as he looks to make his mark in the world of tumbling, flying the flag proudly for both Wales and Great Britain.
