The Welsh Trampoline and Tumbling squads proudly represented Wales at the prestigious Loulé Cup in Portugal, returning home with impressive individual results and several team podium finishes. The international event brought together athletes from across the world, offering valuable experience and competition exposure for gymnasts at every level, from rising stars to seasoned seniors.
In the 13–14 years age group, Megan Phillips put in a solid performance to finish 25th in the Female Trampoline event. The Female Tumbling gymnasts delivered strong routines, with Gracie Breeze leading the way in 10th place, followed by Erin Ladd (16th), Nel Williams (18th), and Sophie Harris (29th). Their consistent efforts were rewarded with a Team Silver medal (2nd place), an excellent achievement against tough international competition. In the Male Tumbling event, Brereton Trim performed confidently, securing 9th place in his category.
On Junior Female Trampoline, Norah Cole and Lani Jones placed 24th and 26th respectively, showing composure and control in their routines. The Junior Female Tumbling squad saw a strong collective performance, with Tia Powell (17th), Tianna Davies (18th), Millie Preece (21st), Elisa Tyrrell (23rd), and Hollie Smith (25th). Their combined scores earned them a Team Bronze medal (3rd place). In Junior Male Tumbling, Luca Burgess-Williams narrowly missed the top five, finishing an impressive 6th, with Owen Jac-Roberts close behind in 11th.

The Senior Female Trampoline team showcased their experience and skill, led by India Marshall, who placed 9th. She was followed by Cerys McIntosh (15th), Sienna Halpin (25th), and Mia Bisp (28th), with Alana Parez also delivering clean, consistent routines. Their combined effort earned Wales a Team Silver medal (2nd place). In Senior Male Trampoline, Lance Stephens represented Wales well, finishing 31st in a challenging international field.
On the tumbling track, Leia Vobe narrowly missed the podium in 5th place, while Florence Williams finished 19th in the Senior Female Tumbling event. The Senior Male Tumbling team also impressed, with Dylan Smallcombe (6th), Reuben Lerwill (22nd), and Seth Page (24th) contributing to another Team Silver medal (2nd place) for Wales.
The Loulé Cup once again proved to be a valuable international test for Welsh athletes, providing not only medals but also experience, growth, and pride in representing their country. Congratulations to all gymnasts, coaches, and support staff for their hard work and commitment throughout the event.
