My journey in gymnastics started in Cardiff, training at somersault gymnastics club. That’s where I really got into the sport, but after the time off during Covid I made the decision to move down to VGA which is where I’ve been training for the last 5 years or so. I’ve been doing gymnastics for 16 years but I’ve also been involved in other sports. For a few years I had to try balance gym and rugby.

CWG 2026 Longlist GymnastRight now, I’m in my second year studying Sports Science at Cardiff Metropolitan University and I’m also a level 2 men’s coach coaching part time down in VGA.
It feels great to be on the longlist and such a great achievement, and it’s exciting to have the opportunity to try and make a Welsh Commonwealth Games team, which is something I’ve always aspired to do.
