GYMNASTICS BACKGROUND

Background: Started in rhythmic aged 10 at Valleys Gymnastics Academy, before switching to Llanelli Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy. Lauryn announced her retirement from competitive rhythmic gymnastics in December 2022.

Highlights. . . Silver all-around at 2022 Welsh Rhythmic Championships; 9th all-around at the 2022 British Rhythmic Championships.

Birmingham 2022: Making her debut at a major championship, Lauryn performed beautifully and was part of the Wales team that finished 6th in the Commonwealth Team final.

DID YOU KNOW . . .
Her mum played netball to county level as a teenager and her dad was a county standard rugby player in his teens. She was a good netball player, but chose gymnastics instead, and competed internationally in cheerleading.
