Almost 900 young people and over 30 schools take part in 2023 Rotary Disability Welsh Schools Competition

Rotary Disability Welsh Schools Competition 2023

Over the past two months we have held a number of events across Wales as part of this year’s Rotary Schools Competition.

The aim is to give gymnasts with complexities and disabilities the opportunity to compete for medals and trophies, try something new and to celebrate their achievements.

This week we held the South Area finals at Sport Wales National Centre, with the North Area finals taking place in Bala earlier in the year. 

All competitions were really well attended, with nearly 900 young people and over 30 schools taking part this year.

As always, our thanks goes out to the Rotary who very kindly sponsor the event and attend the South Area finals every year.
