Welsh Gymnastics are looking to appoint a South East Area Lead to drive the member forum for their area. The forums will be to support WG in delivering and communicating the strategic priorities of the Communities and Champions Strategy 2022, and receive feedback from members.

The area forums will also provide opportunity to share key messages, launch initiatives and enable the voice of the membership to be heard and valued.

The Area Lead will be responsible for completing the following tasks;  

  1. Ensure a minimum of two forums take place a year
  2. Collate membership views to shape the forums
  3. Communicate with the membership and ensure they reflect the views of the members in the area
  4. Attend an annual meeting with WG board and discipline panel leads
  5. Ensure financial systems are transparent and efficient and able to produce reports at the request of the members and WG
  6. Ensure technical reports are received prior to the meetings
