It was a magnificent seven on day two of the Rhythmic Home Nations Championships as our Espoir and Junior gymnasts once again took centre.

There was gold for Llanelli Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy’s Imogen Coslett for her Espoir Free routine. Having qualified in first place yesterday, Imogen then had the highest score of the final with 21.367 to win.

She also took bronze with the ribbon, hoop and ball.

Last year Imogen won British silver with the clubs and was fifth all-around in the U12 category at the Rhythmic British Championships.

In the Junior apparatus finals, Amelie Haines of Evoke Gymnastics bagged ribbon silver and hoop bronze while Llanelli’s Mali Lane collected bronze for her clubs routine.

Well done also to Athena ChanGrace Woods, Wiktoria Barczewska and Bonnie Williams from Llanelli for their fantastic performances in the apparatus finals.

Llongyfarchiadau and Diolch to all of the gymnasts, clubs, coaches, judges, parents, officials, volunteers and spectators who all contributed to such an action-packed weekend of rhythmic gymnastics!
