GYMNASTICS BACKGROUND
First Started: Aged four at Somersault Gymnastics Club before moving to YMCA Barry at 10
Current Club: YMCA Barry / University of Illinois – Fighting Illini Men’s Gymnastics Team
Highlights. . . Welsh all-around champion in 2018. Then in 2019 was Northern Europeans rings champion as well as helping Wales win men’s team silver. 10th all-around at the 2019 British Championships.
Birmingham 2022: Competing at his second Commonwealth Games, Josh successfully qualified for the individual all-around final and finished in 12th.
DID YOU KNOW . . .
He was the youngest Welsh male gymnast at the 2018 Commonwealth Games at just 17. Competitive sailing runs in his family and he was a keen sailor himself when he was younger, but instead decided to fully concentrate on gymnastics.
