Welsh Gymnastics appoint Yash Dave to its Board as Finance NED

Welsh Gymnastics is delighted to confirm the appointment of Yash Dave to its Board as Non-Executive Director for Finance.

Currently Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Strawberry Star Group, Yash brings more than two decades of experience as a senior finance leader with FTSE 100 and Multinational organizations.

Some of those include Vodafone Plc, Boots Plc, Thistle Plc, PDS Multinational and Strawberry Star Group.

Also an alumni of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, Yash is a former professional cricketer in Gujarat State and has played alongside a number of renowned Indian international cricketers, including Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman.

Yash will offer strategic direction to the Board of Welsh Gymnastics, focusing on financial and business planning, governance, risk and investment planning.

He said: “I am delighted to join the Welsh Gymnastics Board and look forward to working alongside the executive team and other board members by bringing my leadership and finance experience on board.

“Given my professional background in the cricketing world for many years, I also believe this can also offer the organisation another perspective.

“I am excited to join the board at a time when I see huge potential and a great future for the sport.”
